Online Quran classes FAQ

Online Quran classes UK: your questions answered

Fees, free trial, teachers and how lessons work.

How much do online Quran classes cost in the UK?

Lessons at Ayat Way cost £3 to £9 for each 45-minute one-to-one lesson. Standard lessons are £3 to £5, Quran with Islamic studies is £6 to £7, and lessons with an Egyptian teacher are £7 to £9. The trial lesson is free.

Are the online Quran classes one-to-one?

Yes. Every lesson is live and one-to-one, so your teacher can listen to you recite and correct your reading as you go.

How does the free trial Quran class work?

Book a trial, meet a teacher on Zoom or Google Meet, read together and talk through your goals. If the teacher is not the right fit, you can meet a second teacher, also free. Paid lessons start only when you are happy.

Can I choose a female Quran teacher?

Yes. Choose a female teacher when you request your free trial. Most of our teachers are female.

Can complete beginners start online Quran classes?

Yes. The Beginners and Noorani Qaida path starts with Arabic letters, vowel signs and joining sounds, so you do not need to read Arabic first.

Do you teach adults as well as children?

Yes. There are learning paths for kids, adults and sisters, and each lesson is matched to the learner’s level.

How long is each lesson?

Each lesson is 45 minutes.

What do we need for an online Quran lesson?

A phone, tablet or computer with a camera, a stable internet connection, Zoom or Google Meet, and a quiet place to read. Having your own Quran to hand helps.

What times are online Quran lessons available?

Lessons run at UK-friendly times, including around school and work. Tell us your preferred days and times when you book, and we will confirm availability.

What is the difference between Quran reading, Tajweed and Hifz?

Quran reading builds fluency. Tajweed teaches the rules of pronunciation and recitation. Hifz is memorising the Quran with regular revision. Many learners begin with reading, then add Tajweed.

Do you teach online Quran classes across the UK?

Yes. Lessons are online, so families in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland can join from home.

Is online Quran learning safe for children?

Lessons are live on Zoom or Google Meet, and you can ask for a female teacher. You can read our safeguarding policy to see how we look after children.
