Quran reading
Reading with a teacher who listens and corrects. Children who cannot read yet begin with Noorani Qaida.
A madrasa at home, in live one-to-one lessons. Your child reads the Quran with a teacher, learns daily duas, the basics of prayer and good manners, in UK evenings or at weekends. The first lesson is a free trial.
Many madrasa pages list long subject lists. We keep it simple and let the teacher agree the topics with you in the free trial.

Search for an online Islamic school and you mostly find full-time schools that follow the British curriculum. Ours is different. It is a part-time madrasa that runs alongside your child's school, with lessons in the evening or at weekends.
We do not teach the national curriculum and we are not an inspected school. If you want a full-time Islamic school, this is not it. If you want your child to read the Quran and learn the basics of Islam at home, it is a good fit.
Quran with Islamic studies lessons are £6 to £7 for each 45-minute one-to-one lesson. The trial lesson is free. Ask about the sibling discount for two or three children.
Two UK providers we checked on 30 October 2026 list one-to-one monthly plans of 30-minute lessons. We turn them into a price per hour so you can compare.
| Option | Monthly | Per lesson | Per hour |
|---|---|---|---|
| Listed monthly plans (30-minute lessons) | £25 to £40 | £2.00 to £3.75 | £4.00 to £7.50 |
| Ayat Way Quran with Islamic studies (45 minutes) | £48 to £56 for 2 lessons a week | £6 to £7 | £8.00 to £9.33 |
These are two providers, so a rough guide, not a market average. Their lessons are shorter and cost less per month. Ours are 45 minutes and include Islamic studies with a teacher, one-to-one. Compare lesson length and teacher, not only price. Prices change, so check before you decide.
We confirm the exact price before you pay. If you are not happy, we refund you. See all fees for every course.
